watched a Utah buck shed today

I was watching 10 bucks spar today in Utah county and a small 3pt popped of an antler while I was watching. I grabbed my camera and looked back to film him , but when I found him again he was bald. It was kind of cool. I did get some cool video of a fox trying to sneak up on some fawns.

Didn't pick them up. I think that they may have been on private property. Even if they were on public I would have had to spook the whole herd to get to the bone , I would rather watch them through the binos than have a shed or 2. I hope to pic some up later down south ...

B-tine or B-bess, did you guys hear about 101 3/8 typical shed that was picked up in the land of enchantment? Heard it was found on a road near a location, still had blood on it!

It is only illegal to pick up sheds in the northern region, isn't utah county in the central region? If it is not only a small portion is in the northern region so depending on where he was he could have picked it up and not been breaking the law.

Whoa, first Ive heard of this. What a waste, Truly a sad law, look at the situation around Jackson Hole WY if you have heard. There are guys that go in, stockpile, and when the whistle blows they go load up.

Yeah, then the fish cops gotsta be running people around the backcountry and next will see if you have your $100 public land pass on you when you get out of your car to snap a pic.

Freedoms are going downhill fast. Bobcat, please document the stress on the animals and how many have died, can you? Even one?

How about those pesky cars going 60 and ineffectual deer crossings and warning signs?

"People" actually die for lack of good action on the latter.
