I saw it here so I have to say: I sent my Rotary in for batteries. It has 2 batteries and the estimate came back for 39.95 for 2 batteries and 59.95 for leak checks and labor and 17.54 shipping. I could buy a nice watch.

I've had the watch since a pretty little filly from Fallbrook Ca gave it to me almost 8 years ago. It is a Rotary and is called a duo - two faces one for dress and one for casual. I negotiated a little off the repair price but maybe I should have just left it in the doodads box.

That seems high to me, way high! I take my Seiko in to a local shop for band pins or a battery once in awhile. The complete bill has never been over $10., usually $5., or they say that they'll get me next time... They're friends, but still...
