Just to let all you Washington State Bowhunters know that Washington State Bowhunters (the organization that works to preserve and enhance your bowhunting seasons in this state) is having their 21st annual banquet and auction on March 25th, at the Lake City Elks Club in Seattle. The fun starts at 2:00pm with a general membership meeting followed by an elk calling seminar and black tail deer hunting seminar. There will be a bowshooting game, dart throw and penny raffle, all with prizes. We also have bucket raffles, and a silent and live auction. You will be bidding on such items as a Mathews Outback bow and a Bill Stewart Takedown Recurve. Tree stands to binoculars. You will not go home empty handed! Detailed information and a reservation form can be found on our web site at WWW.wabowhunter.org.

Hope to see you there!

Steve the site will not open,
To bad we had the RMEF dinner last night or we would of loved to attend. When and where are the meetings? Would like to know more. Thanks

We had about 170 show up and I think everyone had a good time.
Sorry about the web site link, I forgot the S at the end of bowhunters. We auctioned of 2 PSE bows, 2 Mathews Outbacks, an Alpine micro, a Samick recurve, a bill stewart recurve and a Pacific yew St. Charles longbow. 4 tree stands also went out the door. A few hunting trips , a tug boat trip, Elk decoys, packs, wildlife prints, a ton of silent auction and raffle items. We also raffled off a pair of 7 X 50 Steiner predator binos. I don't think anyone went home empty handed.
The blacktail and elk hunting seminars went off great. Hope to see some of you guys there next year. We are thinking about a mule deer hunting seminar.

Here is the correct web address.

We put out 6 issues of our magazine each year..Cost to join is just $15.00. We are a statewide organization that works at keeping or enhancing our archery seasons. Been around 30 years. We also promote a positive bowhunter image. We recently sponsored a school in the National Archery in the Schools Program (buy bows and targets for a high school and they then put archery in their PE curiculum). The kids are our hunting future. We also recently donated $1,000 towards the Hwy 97 (wenatchee/entiat) wildlife fence project and we gave 600.00 to the State Bowhunter ed program.
