I have a buddy that lives in Wyoming, he has some great horn hunting spots, and wants me to come up. I would love to go but gas is too expensive! I was wondering if anyone would want to split gas and go with me? I live in St. George, I am planning on leaving the evening of may 5th and coming back the afternoon of may 9th. just let me know!

If the spots are really that good, your buddy is gonna be pissed. Good spots are rare. Over the years I've had quite a few good hunting spots ruined, just by taking someone along. I had one spot on the Pavant, years ago that was all mine. One opening day of archery I even began to worry if I had screwed up on the opening date. I took my neighbor up there, swearing him to secrecy, and the next year he had his whole friggen family up there for the rifle hunt. I'm talking 15 to 20 people!

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-11 AT 05:13PM (MST)[p]Ha! No kidding, how many times have each of us done that same thing! Makes you sick, I don't take anybody except my boys and my dog to my horn hunting spots. I'm all for sniping somebody else's best spots though, let's take a bus! :)

YhE show up with an uninvited stranger....Classy move!It will be the last invite you get.

Wow!!! I already talked with him before I even posted this up. He is fine with it!

LAST EDITED ON Apr-19-11 AT 08:00PM (MST)[p]You should have said so in the first place. Been burned too many times. You did say you weren't coming up until the 5th? Everything will probably be slicked up by then anyway. It's gonna look like the opening day of deer and elk season combined on May 1st.

Would that be known as CAMO-EVERYWHERE?:D

For GAWDS Sakes Guys,We Got Kids on this Site,Some of them are 65 years Old!:D

I don't care if they're big or small!
If they throw lead I like em all!

I would but it would be a long round trip, by the way you should know a lot of Wyoming is closed on the west side due to a lot of snow until May 16th look it up on national elk refuge website or tines up for the link
