I hope they update the Walk In Areas soon .Before the leftovers go on sale.
I have never hunted one of these areas ,but I and my wife are planning to try one this year.Got a couple units picked out if the Walk In Area is open this year.
Every year they can change.

They usually have the walk in areas updated before the draw. Its the same routine as most things - some aren't worth a sh*t and others can be pretty good. Do your homework and you'll do fine. Check out the HMAs too. The restricted access usually offers a better hunt. Good luck. Chip

doing your homework pays off. archery season is a blast. not one person in sight. rifle season you will see others. i look for good food sources like corn fields and beets and so on. it seems to always pay off.

I have hunted many years in on walk in areas and hma areas and have always filled my buck tags and doe tags. I have got bucks 12-15 in. For me the best time to go is on the weekdays very few people and be ready to take some long shots.
