Waiting on Draws

Well it's the most dead time of year for me. Only one draw (WY moose) until mid-June, when a pile of results come out.

Time to divert attention to turkey hunting, walleye fishing and 3D shooting. Taking my g/f Saturday to buy a new Diamond Edge bow so she can join me. I changed from a Hoyt to Diamond myself so I need to get used to it.

I have 3+ weeks vacation saved and already informed the office I'd be burning it in October, so I am ready for my tags Groundwork has been layed. Just need the tags!

Get this. My new project at USPS only requires me to work on the computer and phone. I can do this anywhere. Most of my hunt apps target October, but if I draw 2 tags with say a week or 2 between hunts, I can just stay out there and work at any post office. Already been approved, no problem!

So what do you other tagless guys do during the May lull?

Usually work so I can afford to hunt next fall. Sometimes I do some fishing with my Dad and I almost always do some feral hog hunting to pass the time and keep the killer instinct going.
