As we often do, I’ve been passing the time anxiously waiting to chase deer with my bow by looking back on some photos from hunts gone by. Came across this one and wanted to share again because I don’t think I realized how special this buck was when we killed it. This was a buck my good pal killed in 2010 in a unit that gets a lot of hate dished out…green scored 196”, good enough for the book but one of those that you won’t find entered.
Not often do you find a 30” buck that looks narrow, but this one does because of how he keeps going up and up and up. Truly incredible deer. I love looking at him.
