I am a lucky winner of one of two wash. st. raffle tickets for moose. my season runs from sept. 1st trhu dec. 31. any open moose unit. I have a general idea where I will hunt, but also open for suggetions. Not looking for a state record, but I would like to find somethin in the 40" to 50" class. Any suggestions?

shouldn't be a problem to find a 40" bull, I'd go to 49 in late September, you'll find what you are looking for. Or wait till December when the really big bulls come out, but then you'll be betting against the deep snow that can hit.
