Vortex, American made?

Correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I can tell Vortex is made in America. Is this true? fatrooster.

I think you are right, but not sure. Look at the last thread here on this forum page and there is a post from Prism and he states this same thing.

American based company, but made in America? I don't think so. Unless some parts are made elsewhere. The objective cover for my vortex nomad says "made in China."

They are all made in the orient (some Japan and some China) but the comapny is based out of Wisconcin
