VIRGIN REDWOOD TREE......

This virgin Redwood tree here in Northern Kali was on the side of my friends home and roots were starting to crack the foundation. After a Tree Co. looked it over found that at the 2/3 section of tree it was forked and could possibly break and cause a lot of damage. So a Tree co. came in and completely removed this tree without any damage and hauled it away, even used a Stump grinder to get rid of the stump and main roots.
Tree was trimmed, cut and lifted out in less than 4 hours.
Here are the pictures as they did the job, I was able to get these pictures before my battery went dead on me. I guess the height of this Redwood at around 80-85 feet tall, might be taller not sure. 16 pics here.

That's just a little "pecker pole" in the world of Redwood trees.

They sure did a nice job though. I bet that cost a pretty penny.

Your friend did the right thing. Those trees are dangerous, especially one all by itself. In a grove they're fairly safe.

I had about 15 trees a little smaller than that around our house that we had removed. They took the logs and it still cost me $1800. No crane involved though.

Those are good photos Brian.

Kilowatt! - those are about the most graphic pics I have ever seen on this website. It literally made my stomach turn and now I am holding back - well I was at least - the tears! That poor precious tree! Desecrated like that and no one there to mourn it!!!

WELL ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

IF NONE OF YOU "REAL MEN" WILL STAND UP AND MOURN THIS GENTLE GIANT OF THE EARTH'S PASSING WITH ME THEN I WILL DO SO ALONE!!

The idiots never should have settled that piece of property anyway let alone build a house there!!! And for what???? So a true hero of the forest can be torn down, "stump ground" (how would you like your stump to be ground up in a wood chipper!!) and chopped up like tomorrow's firewood!

THE HUMANITY!!

i thought it was illegal to cut a redwood down, heck its illegat to do anythang in kali, did u pay your "cut the tree down "

Looks like a lot of time and money wasted there. Should have just called a good faller. It only would have took a couple of minutes. ;)

Turns out that Kilo is actuallly quite the lumberjack and also assisted with the project. He withheld a photo of himself that day and to that I say, don't be so dang modest Kilo!!
