Very helpful GOVERNMENT officials!

Well, today was a good day for me. I went to San Francisco this morning to clear my trophies from our family hunt in South Africa last June. I had to get clearances from US Department of Agriculture for the warthog my son shot, and also clearances from US Fish and Wildlife, as well as US Customs before collecting my 2 crates at SwissAir. Other than a 3 hour delay due to me not making advance arrangements for inspection of the warthog and finding all the USDA inspectors out clearing 15 tons of papayes when I arrived, the whole thing went very smoothly. I first had to go to FWS, and they had me in and out in less than 5 minutes. Then, when Agriculture was able to check my shipment, they only took a few minutes and customs got me out the door in about 2 or 3 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, efficient and prompt. I left thinking that I wish all government employees acted like these guys did today who helped me clear my trophies.

Now I have to go and open some crates to see the goodies inside!
