Vegas Ram

Long time member, usually just like to read the stories and see the photos.
Thought I'd try to post some pictures of the ram my son took the day after Thanksgiving, hope it works.
Gotta love Las Vegas for hunting sheep, this ram was taken less than 10 miles from our house, nothing like sleeping in your own bed while hunting!

It doesn't seem fair that you can shoot a "hogdaddy" ram you can almost spot from your front porch! Way to go! If I thought I could draw that permit, I would move to Vegas tomorrow!

The department of wildlife scored him at 160 2/8 and aged him at 8 1/2 years.
He shot at this ram on Thanksgiving morning but missed. He felt sick about it because we hadn't seen anything near as big in 2 weeks of hunting.
Believe it or not, he decided to go back the next morning to see if he could find it again and found him bedded down not 300 yards from where he shot at him the day before.
This time he made it count and put him down just before he crested the ridge.
