varmints near Boise?

I'm looking for a place to take the kids out to shoot some rabbits or squirrels or such. We've been out a few times with marginal success and I think we can do better. Any good spot within say a couple hours?

I know of some places for coyotes near lucky peak

Plenty of places to find rabbits, just hunt any sage flats. No squirrels this time of year. Whistlepigs come out in the spring.
