"The three Cache units are almost all private and it can be tough to secure permission." This would be the only thing I would disagree with. Both the north and south cache are mostly public land. The meadowville unit is pretty much all private. AT least private where there are lots of elk. But, all 3 units have been hit hard with lots of tags and are struggling badly. The south cache produces a good chance at a 280-320 class bulls, a few bigger are taken every year. The north, you better kill a 5 point if you can find one.
