UTAH SHED HUNTERS...

Hey guys, and gals,
I am wondering if ANY of you know about shed hunting near the Flaming Gorge/Dutch John area? I would love any advice, or suggestions you guys can give me. I will be up there for the next three days and want to know where i will have a good chance of finding some monster sheds. Deer and elk! please share your knowledge!

I drove through the "old neighborhood" a few weeks ago and there are nice sheds in almost every yard, quite a change from when I lived in Dutch John back in 1985 and nobody cared about horn hunting... I didn't, I only fished back then. I would go just north of DJ into wyoming to the Wild Horse area (oil rigs) for deer and farther north to Little Mtn. for elk mabey between the lake and little mtn. Its a good area except for everyone from Dutch John, Vernal, Manillia, Green River, RockSprings, North Western Colardo, has done a walk or two. Little Mountain is a 4 wheeler race track this time of year.

Spent six days in the areas mentioned above.Took horses and camped out on the mountain.Thought it was closed to 4 wheelers but signs can be very deceiving.Quite bummed with all the traffic in both Utah and Wyoming but still had fun and found a couple sheds. Later -MULEYZ
