Utah Rocky Mountain Bighorn Pictures
These are pictures I took last winter of some of the new Bighorns on the Wasatch Front. I think its pretty cool to have these animals around. The herd appears to be doing well and some of the rams are growing up a bit.
I looked for the Sheep all winter and only saw this group twice. One time they were way too high on the mountain but the other time I saw them they were very low, so I took advantage of the opportunity and got some good video of them.
There were five rams in the group, two of which were big (I think). The first two pictures are of one of them. This one had a brown radio collar on.
This is the other big ram in the group.
