I drew out on a Utah Moose Tag for the Ogden Unit. Anyone out there have any advise? I know the area pretty good but any help would be appreciated.

You'll have a lot of company this year. 42 bull tags and 20 cow tags to contend with(DWR thinks we have too many moose). My advise is to get away from the road and the ATVs as far as possible for a good bull. I have a good friend that has the tag this year too.

42 include the con/conv tags too? or would that add another 2-3 hunters?

LAST EDITED ON May-09-08 AT 07:33AM (MST)[p]First congratulations on your tag. I hunted moose last year in a different unit and you are in for a fun, sometimes frustrating hunt. The bulls can move miles, they stay bedded in the willows when you are close. They can be hard to find at times, just don't get discouraged. Sorry I don't have any decent, specific info for you. Best of luck on your hunt.
