Utah Extended Archery Hunt

It's my first year archery hunting elk in utah. I got into the elk ok during regular season but now im looking for any advice on good areas for the Utah extended hunting areas. Will land owners around Uintah Basin let you hunt there land? Thanks

It is my experience that they will NOT let you hunt. You may be able to pay a trespass fee, but it will not be cheap.

Are you in the Uintah basin? In my experience it is hard to find anyone around here that is willing to let you hunt on their place. Do you have an area in mind? I have been haveing problems, especially this year, getting permission to hunt private land. Plus the Uintah extended area doesn't have much elk country in it at all. I live here in vernal and plan to make a few trips out to the wasatch front in hopes of finding some elk out that way.
