This is in response to the Utah Conservation Permit post in this forum. I have a serious question for TriState and didn't want it to get lost in the other post.

I have read all the comments in the original post. I am not one to ignore someone's opinion simply because everyone else hates them- popularity is a poor indicator of truth. I actually think a lot of what you say is an honest opinion with some merit. But what I can't understand is how you put so much faith in the argument that the main thing keeping state wildlife agencies from getting it right is a lack of funding. I don't buy it. I've seen way to much money dumped into rat holes over and over again with no results only to have them come back and say, "If we only had more money we would have been successful".
