WELL I DREW A L.E WEST DESERT VERNON ARCHERY TAG. I started my scouting first snow melt. I new the area pretty well for hunting with a rifle my brother drew this unit 3 years ago and got a 34" buck with nice mass and cheaters. So I scouted some areas that would fit me and my bow. I finally found the spot after months of hard fun work. We have a awesome movie we put together of the scouting to lock in the memories. One morning we had 28 big bucks come into water on film 4 or 5 bigger than the one I took. Well we set up are bass camp and got to know all the bucks pretty well we started to recognize them from cross canyons in are scopes. On opening morning we had several bucks water not what I was looking for. I really liked this buck from are scouting the front curl and deep tines. He finally came in and feed to far out for a clean shot. It took 2 days for him and 2 other 4 points to come in real slow 1 hour later they came in to water and gave me a 24 yard broad side shot and he only went 30 yards. Best archery buck so far!

Nice buck. Still looking for my first archery kill. Headed back out this weekend for deer and sept. 19 for elk. Congrats on a great buck.

That is a sweet buck! I do not want to turn this into a score thing, but have you taped him? I am curious with those awesome tines! You can pm me if you do not want to post score. I only wonder for my own judging skills!

Again, that is a GREAT buck. The tine length is unreal.

(edit) People always say "nice for a bow." That buck is nice with anything!
