Not too long ago (May) I moved to Salt Lake. I am looking for a good, ethical group of hunters that wouldn't mind a tag-along. Any invitations are most welcome.
Well...... I guess all the way south. I live in St. George, and usually hunt in the St. George, Cedar City, Enterprise tri-angle. I didn't draw a deer permit this year, so I'm wide open for a non-competitive type hunt where you'll be the only one with a tag. You can shoot any buck you see, but where I hunt there are more mature bucks than yearlings, so I would recommend holding out for a good one. I'll usually sit on a good vantage point and glass all morning until the bucks have bedded. Then you'll have to figure out a good route for stalking with me watching the action through my big binoculars. Also, I've been known to turn in friends and family when laws were broken, so assume that we'll be living by the letter of the law. I don't like smokers, drinkers, litter bugs, or cry babies that want everything done for them. I'm usually pretty easy to get along with, so if you can't find someone closer to home, let me know. That sounds fair enough. I just don't know if I'll be able to make it down there between now and Sept. 14th. I'll see what I can do. Either way, I truly appreciate the offer and will at least keep it in mind for the future. Thanks again!
