Unit 89 deer

A very difficult draw, about 1 in 11 chance but a highly coveted license. Remember the HMA is only for elk but all legally accessible lands are open. Many elk hunters see good deer on the inaccessible lands for deer. Archery is best before the onslaught of cow elk hunting starts.

I've hunted several times now with others and once for myself and I don't even have a general idea where to go until after I scout. Only a handful of good bucks every year that Ive ever found. like 2 or 3 most times. After scouting several times
