Unit 84 Deer

How was this Hunt? I saw that it was new for last year. What is the access like? Deer Quality? I'm just trying to make a last minute decision and any information would be awesome.

The east side (the rim)is mostly leased by an outfitter. I do not know much about the west side.

have you looked at a map? complete checker board except the south east end. if you are good with a map and a gps it is probably a decent hunt if you only got a point or two.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I'll just stick to the original plan. How can I get a map that shows the private property in a unit?

What was your original plan? No offense, but if you haven't even been on any maps to take a look at land ownership, you are sort of behind the 8 ball with the application deadline for the draw being tomorrow at 5PM Mountain time! I would suggest that you put in for whatever unit you were going to either tonight or tomorrow morning before the website gets overloaded with last minute applicants. Then start doing some real homework over the next couple months and go back in before the modification deadline of June 3 to change to what you find is a better choice.
