There is always a bunch of leftover cow tags there and that is probably why.

I hunted this unit last year. As the others have suggested, access is very difficult. However, there are some HMAs and walk-in areas in the southern part of the unit that can be well worthwhile.

Going on a prarriedog shoot in June and will drive thru the area and look it over and see what the Walk In area access is.
