Unit 6 Trespass Cow Hunt-Late Season

Hello-
I was going to call a biologist friend of mine up in the Buffalo area on Tuesday and start to dig into the idea of cow elk hunting in Unit 6 this Nov/Dec. With all of the tags available, are the landowners pretty sick of folks knocking on doors? I'm sure $$$ will work though. Any suggestions? Willing to pay up to $500x2 to access land for a good cow hunt. Are there generally more elk in the northern section of Unit 6 bordering Unit 7?...or is the unit pretty populated?

Not sure why you'd call a guy in Buffalo about elk area 6. I'd call Martin Hicks, the biologist in Wheatland. There are several HMA areas in 6 and G&F monitors them and helps with access. You could also call the Laramie regional office since it is in their area.
