Thinking of doing a archery hunt for mulies this September with a friend, does anybody have info on how the deer heard is doing? How is the trophy potencial been in recent years? Thanks!!!!

If you have access to private land you should do OK, as private land makes up most of the area. If you have access to a bigger block of private with agricultural fields, you could find more deer and possibly a nice buck.

We had a terrible drought last year. Things were really tough. It's better now, but not great. There are some good bucks, but you need access to quality private land to find a stud. There's not much public and it's very improbable to find a big buck on public ground in 55.

I live in 55 and don't hunt there. That's my perception on the quality of bucks in our country.
