unit 45 outfitter license

Does anybody have any info on possible 45 outfitters license? IDFG have 2 tags allocated tags to an outfitter. How can this be with no licensed outfitter for deer in unit 45?

Although it may show no outfitters for deer in 45, its possible that they have private ground in the unit ammended to there license....its probably along the lines of that....

Up until now there has been no outfitters in unit 45 for deer and elk. I have been hearing rumors about IOGA allowing an outfiter there, and also that there are people interested in starting an outfitting business there.

Well I don't know the whole story behind 45, that was only a geuss....regardless of where you outfit in the state, you can have private ground anywhere in the state ammended to your license for guiding, as long as the board approves of it. Generally its just paperwork, property boundrys etc, etc. Usually when a area that surrounds an outfitters area becomes available, those surrounding outfitters usually get to know first about it... Call IOGA and find out, am sure they would answer it for ya, and I would be curious also...
