Unit 43 Deer

My dad and I hunted unit 43 last season, he took a really tall 23" 4x4. I myself got two shots at respectable bucks but missed. Looking to see if anyone hunted here or how they did.

my friend and his family always hunt that unit if they dont draw. last year he got a 5 by 6 27 inches wide out of 4 hunters they all had bucks to take back home. This year if i dont draw im going to go to the unit with them to see if we can find someting to shoot at

43 can be a good unit IMO. Spend some time in it, do your homework and it will pay off.

we hunted near fairfeild area is this were they hunted or do you know. any info would be helpful

i think they were on the eastern border of the unit
