Unit 43&46 elk

Planning on hitting the unit 43 and 46 archery elk. Anyone know how this hunt is? Also what I'm gathering from the regs it's a general hunt and can I buy OTC? Thanks

43 and 48 are tall units. I usually expect a 2,000 climb before I get to elk country. Also, not a lot of road access, so the Pioneer unit gets more attention. The wolves did some work but I think the elk are starting to come back. Again, its not an easy unit and expect to do lots and lots of climbing. I hunted it 19 days before I got an elk with my bow this year.

The wolves completely ruined my hunt this year up there. Its really tough at least it was for me.
