Unit 4 Bears

Looking at Going into Unit 4 in Northern Idaho for Bears Spring Spot and Stalk, Does anybody have any Information they are willing to share?

lots of bears I wouldnt get serious till May and more closer to mid may to June 10th is the best time. Concentrate on the more open hill sides with grasses growning, creek bottoms with skunk cabbage.

Huntnnw check your dates unit 4 closes the end of May. 7 and 9 are open into June.

lang, you are correct. Looks like they are changing the date to June 30, but that will not be in effect until 2015.

Yes it closes on the 30th, we are going up around the 20th

So are they changing dates next year? I just got the letter a couple weeks ago that they are thinking about it.

Looks like it is changed to close June 20 in 4 and 4A. Unless this is a typo on the press release, the Wildlife board must have changed the proposal from June 30 to June 20 close. Will be in effect Spring 2015.
