Unit 37A archery mule deer

Looking to scout in 37A for some potential backcountry mule deer for archey. Looking on Google Earth, seems to be an area that has nice elevation, and little roads in some areas. Wanting to go deep in, and stay away from other hunters. Any information about the mule deer population and average size would be much appreciated.

Those mountains are tough hunting. Not alot of mule deer. Watch the water holes close! I haven't seen a buck up there besides a spike in the last three years during elk season. Hope your luck is better than mine. If all else fails and you just want meat, shoot a doe. If you can find one. ;-)
