Unit 37 controlled Elk hunt

I have seen hundreds of Elk in 37A.

37 or 37a? Spent time in both.....

Honestly, if you don't kill a bull elk in 37a it's because you might be too picky! I watch em with my spotting scope from my deck!

I would hunt in the Mahogany and rock creek drainages I think if you spend some time scouting the area you still have a good chance at a very nice bull. I hunted that area extensively in the mid 90's and have harvested some really nice animals.I know the wolves have had an impact on the elk herds in that unit but that is pretty much the case in most units.Good luck on your hunt.let me know if I can be of any further assistance.pm me for more info
