Unit 36 deer

I see that there are tags left in 36.anybody here have any experience hunting this area..I assume if there are tags left at this point there is a punch line?thanks hth

LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-16 AT 07:55AM (MST)[p]It has been a restricted 3 point or better buck only unit with a short season under the Region M tag until this year when they made it LQ with IMHO way too many tags available for the resource there. Those are the reasons you see a lot of tags left after both the resident and NR draw. It has very few deer and you can go days without seeing any, but might stumble on an occasional decent buck just like anywhere else. I would not waste good money on that tag unless you just want to go out and see some country that really isn't anything more than desert for the most part. That's just me and someone else may have a different opinion and that's what makes the world go around.

Thanks for response...just foolishly trying to piece together a mule deer hunt for a nephew...thanks..I confess I am late in the game for this year but...hth
