Unit 34 Youth Turkey Success

Took my son out for the first day of youth turkey. Managed to get one a little interested. He wouldn’t come in so we snuck back out and got some elevation and trees between us and moved about half a mile ahead of his direction. We snuck up one of those small canyons and I sent my son up over the top where we figured he would come out. After about five minutes of us sneaking in I saw my son raise his shot gun. At about that same time I saw the turkeys head and then bam my son bagged his first ever turkey. Super proud dad moment.
