Unit 32 Bear Info

I have a buddy from Utah that drew the Unit 32 fall bear tag. We are headed up in the morning. Has anyone seen or heard of any bears while deer hunting. I have not hunted this unit in a couple of years. He is not looking for a monster just a good bear. Any info would be great!

I have this tag..... opening weekend we saw 3 bears my cousin shot one, I missed one other. Went back three weeks later and the pine cones were dropping and bears were hitting them hard and no sign of bears in clearcuts and logging roads. They were and probably still are in the apple orchards in private lands. We were unsuccesful in getting permission so came home a day early.
