Unit 24 Moisture

Anyone know if elk unit 24 has been getting much rain? Is it pretty dry there right now? I was there over the 4th of July and it was looking pretty good. Going back this weekend for round two of scouting. Thanks.

Past week much of the state has been cool and wet. Looks from radar like they have some rain. Call or email the biologist.

I was there Thursday - Saturday of this week, still lots of creeks, seeps and springs. The weather forecast shows hot sunny weather for the next 10 days or so which might change things a little just before the archery season starts.

How'd the last scouting trip go?

Congrats to any that drew a unit 24 elk tag.

I'm sure a guy has to burn a few points to get that one under normal circumstances.

Most of Wyoming seems to be doing at least OK for moisture so far.
Looking at the drought map for the state, it's looking mostly good.
