unit 17 or 27

Which unit will give us the best opportunity for a larger elk?
Do they have the same type of terrain? I have heard that it is steep?

Just got back from 17 (south end, near 21 border), 18 wolves, 2 bears, 3 dead elk carcuses, a set of Grizzly Tracks, and 0 deer, and 1 cow elk....Enough Said.

Thanks for the information. Since my original posting I have talked with Idaho state wildlife bioligists from units 17 and 27. Putting your information and theirs together I have decided that 27 is the place for us to go. We'll see you next September.
