Well, up until this year I have not been a lucky drawer! The good Lord has blessed me with this archery permit, and one in 97-1 Wyoming... Now to make it all come together!
Thanks for the reply, this year the archery is 9/17-30, so kinda sounds like some bulls will be cowed up by this time. Looking forward to the Screemn Bulls!Wife had a Resident Archery Bull in ag last year. They were starting to gather cows September 2nd. September 6th they were starting to bugle and would bugle back. They started coming to the cow call on the 7th but would move off with their cows if you bugled to close up until the 9th. She filled her tag on the 9th. With them pushing the hunt to the right they should be all fired up by the time you get there.
Mature bulls should have many cows making it tough to call. Plan on stalking in tight inside 60 yards for a shot and rip a bugle if you all else fails. Thanks for the reply, this year the archery is 9/17-30, so kinda sounds like some bulls will be cowed up by this time. Heading up to scout end of August, first week in Sept. to see what grade of bulls are running around and get somewhat the lay of the land. The new onx terrain X is an amazing tool and I have figured some areas with vantage points to spot in through the canyons. Thinking about taking a fold up decoy on the hunting trip in case I need to get across the table. Thanks for your input Hunt4, always love to hear techniques, we all have different things that have either worked or got them close enough to fling a stickMature bulls should have many cows making it tough to call. Basque’oHad a great day on Table mnt about 15 yrs ago. Lots of funny Basco porn in the aspen stands. Sitting on top watching a huge bull tend his 30 cows, I looked at the ground next too me. A perfect 4inch obsidian spear tip. Found a 300 inch 5x5 deadhead on my way back down.
Thanks! No, lots of elk. Maybe saw 7 doe. I wouldn’t waste any points on deer thereHell of a bull!! Happen to see any big mule deer running around?
I believe it’s just an abnormal point, I’m having a registered guy green score it, he’s thinking 360-370ish, What ya all think he’ll score? Is that a double 5th or is that the 5th and main beam on his left side. Great bull and sounds like a great shot.
I didn't see the main beam there in the back so that is why I was wondering. I blew it up and saw the end of the main beam. Pretty cool bull. I'd say he'd go 360".I believe it’s just an abnormal point, I’m having a registered guy green score it, he’s thinking 360-370ish, What ya all think he’ll score?
I’d guess about the same!I believe it’s just an abnormal point, I’m having a registered guy green score it, he’s thinking 360-370ish, What ya all think he’ll score?
