I was thinking about unit 120 for elk this fall. Is access to public land an issue? Is the land locked off by private? looks like mostly BLM. Are the elk mostly on public or private land? Willing to walk atleast a half a dozen miles off roads to pack an elk. Best during archery or rifle season on public land? We are hardcore DIY hunters. thanks for any info.
