If you know anyone who drew an elk tag in unit 118 let me know...i found a group of good bulls, 1 about 330 while antelope hunting in a location they won't be bothered, also a group of 15 cows near by...

While hunting antelope in 61, I saw a few as well...south is all I will say for here, but sounds like you have them dialed. Great for you to share.

How was your 61 hunt? It was my first time in that country. I found water tough to come by and a lot of 61 dry - no real surprise with the weather. And when you were more than 1.5 miles from water, hardly any lopers.

What I saw were mostly small, and had a hard time finding any to really stand out.

But then I broke my own rule and shot one at last light, so misjudged him. Still a fun hunt and happy with the take - just wish it was like caribou hunting and you could have two tags to get your hands on one and then know more of what to look for!
