Unit 10 Moose

Anybody know or have any first hand experience for Moose in Unit 10 the last few years. I have 12 pnts burning a hole in my pocket. 2014 appears to be a bleak year for tags for me so I might try my luck for a moose tag in 2014. I have horses and have spent a lot of time in this unit just not the last few years.

I had the tag a couple of years ago. The moose hunting was really tough. About 10 years ago, this area seemed to be crawling with moose. I hunted 11 days and finally took a bull in late October. He was essentially a 42" mature bull with no paddles. Game and Fish aged him at 6 years. It was the only moose I saw. If you are interested, I will PM you about the areas that I hunted.
