Unique Elk Shed Set

Spotted the g5 and g6 of the big side from about a mile away with the spotting scope on my deer hunt and went out yesterday to go pick it up. I thought it would be a small 5 but i was pumped to see this laying in between two logs.

My first full elk shed set, Convientely barbed wired together
We figure that he got tangled up, then shed the larger side, which pulled the freak side off. The 2 1/2 mile hike was definitely worth it.

Great find. Not often that you find both sheds neatly tied together. Will certainly make for interesting conversation.

I aslo found a set with barb wire wrapped around the base. Small six point, one side has a broken sixth, I will try and post pictures some time. I have always wondered how often this happens.
