Unfair Buck

Last Monday through Sunday was my spring break and my brother and I were driving through cody wy. and just then I looked out the window and saw a nice 4X4 buck still packin both sides. Its totally unfair how they are droppin everywhere else, but not in town.

Kinda seems like those town bucks hang on longer? Buddy called up a few days ago and said "his" buck (whitetail) was STILL packin both sides...in APRIL?

Same problem up here in Canada this year. Deer still packing antlers. It's not odd to see muledeer packing in April, but for whitetails, it's a weird occurence.

A lot of serious shed hunters will say that animals that are pressured more (like those that hang out around town) shed their antlers later than those that see fewer humans

I live in Cody and just the other day i saw a 3 and about five forkies still packin at least one side. The 3 was good sized too.

Hey BrokenTine, have u been up looking for elk horns lately? Do u go to like sunlight or up north or south fork, or do u go to mets. or to the bighorns? We hit the mountains everywhere. What spots have u hit this year? How many elk sheds have u found this year? I live in Powell, and its looking like a nice weekend this week finally.
