I think I'm going to hunt up by Christmas meadows here in a week or two for elk. I will be going in 3 or 4 miles with horses and i'm just wondering if anyone has hunted up in that area and if there is a good number of elk in there. Just curious if it is a good spot to try, either way I guess we'll find out. Has anyone hunted up by anchor lake or close to that area? might check that area out also.

I have spent some time in that area east of Christmas meadows. Not going to give you exact spots. But yeah there are some good areas in there that hold elk
