Tukeys upper snake hunt (idaho)

Just wondered if anyone was having any luck in the youh or adult turkey draw tag hunts in the upper snake river units
My dad has the hunt that opens May 1st. Are the turkey numbers looking good? seeing many birds, are they henning up and gobbling much? Just wondering what to expect for this hunt. Any starting ponits that we could begin scouting in (just general areas or units)?

Two friends have tags. Going tomorrow to call for them. Weather has been cold, windy, and snowy, so next week should be better.

The sooner he gets on one the better especially in bottoms, because of the water that gets released downstream it pushes alot of turkeys out onto private land access is tough once that happens.
