My nephew was away for about 18 months. His wife convinced him that the reason she got an IUD was to keep her hormones in check.

It would be funny if stuff like that never happened, but it does. 26 years in the Air Force and 5 years as a First Sergeant, I pretty much saw it all. Even had a guy tell me it's normal for black people to test positive for weed. Same guy said it was black culture to take care of another man's wife while he was deployed. He ended up getting a discharge and I'm sure he's done some replecting on the comment for the last 15 or so years. I'll have to tell the story some day about an irate woman I had a talk with after one of my troop's python crawled over to her balcony and ate her cat. Shoulda written a book, I guess.
I don't know why this should surprise anyone on this forum.
