Truck wiring problem...

My truck is wired with a 4 flat electrical system for towing. My trailer is a 7 prong round end. I can't find a 4 flat (male) to 7 prong round (female) end adaptor. Do they just not make them?

Hey BESS- do they make them as one solid piece....without the wiring exposed in between the two adaptors? I need something more rigid.

But I've only seen them with a Pig-Tail(short piece of wire!) between the two plugs!

Either go to any Camper Sales outlet or the local dealership that pertains to your make of vehicle they have them or can order it for you.

The RV place that just worked on my trailer is a rip off so I'd rather not give them the business but I may have to.

Thanks Gator....I just went to the RV place and the guy told me he'd run the additional wires necessary to complete the "7 prong system" with the bracket and plug for under $100. I may just go that route so I have the complete system which will include the battery charging wire as well as the trailer brakes. Thanks for the help.

That is the way to go. We do 7 way plugs/w/bracket for $70 so he should be around that price.
