Trout filet

This one was really yummy. Best I've ever tried.
 
I had just started cleaning it. I wrapped it in foil with some Hi Country trout seasoning and cooled it in the fire.

I pull something out of my nose that looks like that from time to time. Usually when the air gets too dry. I do like a good fire roasted trout filet with lemon pepper and butter.....mercury and all.

That is a rainbow trout, about 2 pounder. The red meat means that it is a natural, stocked trout have much less color.
