Trophy Ridge Nitro Lights

Hey all,

I recently outfitted my new bow with a trophy ridge sight and was wondering if any of you had experience using the little green glow sticks that fit into them to help light the fiber optic? Do they make that big of a difference in low light? Are they worth having along while hunting? Thanks.

I just put a trophy ridge sight on last week and was wondering the same thing. It sure is bright even without the glow sticks with all the fiber optic coil around it. How do you like yours so far? I really like mine. I am going to test out the glow sticks this week, I will let you know what I think.

Ive had my Trophy Ridge for over a year and have yet to use the glow sticks. I put the package in my pack just in case but I think it would have to be midnight to use it because the pins are already so bright.

I like my new set up a whole lot. The sight is great. I was a bit skeptical of the adjustment mechanism on the sight at first, but after sighting the bow in I feel that the system is pretty solid. It is a bright sight also and I really wonder how dark it would have to be for the nitro lights to be useful. I might buy a pack just in case..

skip the glow sticks and get the light attachement better (if legal). I have used both and the glow sticks do not work as well as the light.

the light is better but if you want to go p and y you cant use ,,, am i right on this,,,, i used the glow light and it was better than nothing and i used to keep one in the little hole in case ineeded it in a hurry it was right there,,,,,cbryant

Washington won't allow us to use the attachment. But I was shooting the other night and I could see my pins plain as day right up until it was too dark to shoot at a critter anyway. Only a month away, I can't wait to see what an elk looks like through my new sights.
