Trophy fee, where's the trophy hunt?

There are a few deer hunts that are true trophy hunts. But what elk hunt in Idaho is a trophy fee??? What do you guys think?

There are some trophies in Idaho, especially wolves, but I don't know of any trophy units.

The fish and game want to raise fee's on what they call a trophy hunt. The state has a few area's for deer that you could call a trophy area. But what are they talking about for elk? What area or unit would they call a trophy area and want us to pay more for??? Or will they start trying to make a few units trophy units?

LAST EDITED ON Dec-16-08 AT 07:23PM (MST)[p] I'm guessing, that the past hunts that issued bull permits will be your future trophy hunts. If you want to hunt a bull elk, whether in archery season or whatever, you will have to pay more for that tag. I don't think they plan on trying to create any units better hunting for trophy bulls. I'm guessing though, but thats kind of the way the IDFG thinks. Charge more, but don't really increase the quality.

IDFG is refering to the "Trophy Species". Sheep, Goats, and Moose. Those are the trophy species.

Sorry about the white out of the face. I don't known this guy(not sure if he wants his pic on the internet) but I know it was killed in Idaho. The story I heard was they shot it off a dead six point bull. Its a 200 lb cat, I wish Idaho was known for 200 inch typicals, not cats.
